Preparing for Moving In

Once habitation has been granted by the local authority and the NHBC (or other warranty provider) has certificated your plot, you will be given the opportunity to visit your new home for a Welcome Meeting. This inspection will take place around one week before you are due to move in and it usually takes the form of a demonstration by one of our site staff and the sales advisor.

In your home, we will demonstrate the workings of the windows, heating and hot water, shower and kitchen appliances. Our site representative will also show you the electrical consumer unit and the position of services stopcocks or any other features that will be useful to you. At this time we will also be able to answer any questions you may have about your new home.

You will be provided with a lot of information about your new home, including instruction manuals and guarantees. When have received confirmation that our solicitor is in receipt of your funds, we will provide you with the keys to your new home and you are free to move in.
