Cruden commences new £10.45m Lytham St Annes Retirement Living Village
Cruden Construction to construct 65 retirement apartments at North Walton Street in Lytham St Annes.
Following an extensive pre-construction period, Cruden Construction has been appointed by Gladman Retirement Living Ltd, to design and construct a three and four storey retirement living development at North Walton Street in Lytham St Annes, incorporating extra care provision for residents.
The £10.45m development will be constructed over an 80 week programme and provide 65 one, two and three bedroom apartments, including two penthouse suites, together with a host of residents communal facilities such as a restaurant, spa suite, hairdressing salon, residents lounge, guest suite and scooter store. The works also include associated landscaping, siteworks, drainage and services.
Known as ‘The Sidings’ the development will offer an independent lifestyle with tailored care and support available should it be needed, all in a safe and secure environment, designed specifically for later living. Residents will take up occupation in early 2021.

This contract sees Cruden Construction extend its position as probably the leading design and build contractor for these types of developments in the North West of England. The Lytham St Annes scheme is one of five current contracts in this sector totaling almost £52 million of contract value that the company is building, and will be it’s 35th scheme.
