2019 Cruden Construction HSQE Award Winners

Winning Team - Liberty Place, St Helens

Cruden are proud to announce that the judging is in and the annual Cruden Construction HSQE award winning team are Liberty Place, St Helens.

The judging panel’s aim was to establish the best performing site and site management team across the business, ensuring performance was in line with our independently accredited policies, management procedures and targets, whilst capturing best practice lessons that can be used to inform and train all our construction managers.

Liberty Place is a 72 unit affordable housing scheme on Knowsley Road for local provider Torus. Designed by John McCall Architects, the development on Knowsley Road has transformed a piece of unused land on one of the main thoroughfares in the town.

Ian Woolrich MD, presented the award and said about the team: "Whilst delivering a quality scheme at Liberty Place their collective and consistent efforts and focus around Health and Safety stood out as above and beyond and was deserving of the award.

“It's particularly pleasing to present this annual award in recognition of a great team effort, over a prolonged period on an extremely well managed project for our valued client Torus.”

An evening of celebration will now be planned for the winners and their partners in recognition of their effort.
