The English Half Marathon was run on Sunday 20th September in Warrington with some 5,000 dedicated runners taking on a challenging course. Many participants took part to raise money for local charities and some competed against the clock to achieve personal best times.

Cruden Construction has been awarded two further contracts from existing clients, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) and Brook Finch Pogson with a value approaching £5.8m.
Twenty six new homes will be constructed at Longridge Drive, Heywood for RBH, the only mutual housing society jointly owned by tenants and employees.

The Wrekin Housing Trust, one of the largest social housing providers in the West Midlands with almost 12,000 homes for rent and shared ownership across Shropshire and Staffordshire has awarded a £10m contract for the design and construction of a new Extra Care Development of 85 one and two bedroom apartments and associated resident facilities at Bicton near Shrewsbury to Cruden Construction.
