Second Great Places Housing Group Award for Cruden Construction
Quality, Service and Value is the winning formula again as Great Places Housing Group awards Cruden Construction a second contract in 2015.
The contract is for the design and construction of forty three new homes in a mix of thirty-four, two bedroom/four person houses and eleven, three bedroom/five person houses. The new homes at Union Road, Bolton, will be built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 rating and should be more energy and water efficient for residents.
Working with and alongside Cruden Construction to deliver the scheme are Bowker Sadler Architects, Wilkinson Cowan Partnership (Employers Agent & CDM Coordinator) and Sutcliffe Projects (Consulting Engineers). The project commenced on site on 26th March 2015 and will be complete in October 2016.
The £4.2m project is supported by the Homes and Community Agency through the Innovation Chain North West (ICNW) Framework, a group of leading North West Housing Associations committed to building better homes, efficiently and cost effectively. Working with Great Places Housing Group, Cruden Construction aims to use as many local suppliers and subcontractors as possible to construct the project. In addition we will be offering opportunities for apprentices during the works.
