New Works Management System Announced for Cruden Property Service

New Works Management System Announced for Cruden Property Service Picture
Friday 1st April 2011

Cruden Property Services (Cruden) have now chosen to implement new Works Management, Job Scheduling and Mobile Working delivered by IT providers ROCC, Xmbrace and Kirona.
The announcement follows a 12 month procurement process with a select group of software suppliers who Cruden asked to bid to replace their in-house works management system, as well as implement future proof job scheduling and mobile working technology for enhanced workforce performance.

Having demonstrated their ability to meet Cruden's requirements, Kirona have been selected as the prime contractor for a "best of breed" solution along with partners ROCC and Xmbrace. ROCC UniClass will replace Cruden's in-house works management system, providing job costing, stock control and inventory, and invoicing. Xmbrace's OPTI-TIME will provide premium job scheduling technology for Cruden's work planners. Kirona will be delivering the market leading Job Manager product for the mobile workforce, as well as providing the Managed Support for all three solutions.

Cruden's new Intelligent Mobile solution will replace our existing system, enabling all of Cruden's mobile workforce to get work sent directly to their mobile handheld devices, regardless of their location. After completing a mandatory vehicle safety check on the device, workers can then view their jobs and update their status as they go to inform OPTI-TIME's planners of the job lifecycle progression.

As well as viewing jobs and updating their progress, the mobile solution also allows users to record a variety of other necessary information. The mobile solution also records worker activity to implicitly generate timesheets and it incorporates a Panic Alarm to provide Lone Worker Safety.

Paul Fadden, Partnership Manager at Cruden Property Services commented "This is a significant investment in the future of our business, driven by the desire to deliver the best possible service to our clients and customers. For this to be a success it was vitally important for us to identify a partner that not only had the best product, but also had the best people to deliver and support it. Kirona demonstrated throughout the process that they understood our business, were committed to the same values as a business that we are, and had a partnership in place with ROCC and Xmbrace that delivered a 'best of breed' systems solution.
We are looking forward to long and successful partnership with Kirona"
