As partner contractor on Framework One 2009 for Manchester City Council, Cruden Group were delighted to be a part of the Big School Make Over Project at Plymouth Grove Primary School in Manchester.

During October 2009 the British Council for School Environments (BCSE) launched the Big School Make Over project to encourage schools to make a real difference to their learning environments with a key message 'small change, big difference'

Plymouth Grove Primary School identified an unused cloak room as a space to be transformed in to a new school library and flexible working space. Coordinated by Framework partner by Wilmon Dixon all the partner contractors commenced their installation and make over works on Monday 5th October 2009. The Cruden Group team was onsite to donate and install kitchen units, sink drainer unit, mixer taps and base unit.

In just three days the Framework One 2009 team delivered an impressive transformation of the tired cloak room in to a bright, welcoming and efficient learning environment for the children and teachers of Plymouth Grove Primary School.

In the opening ceremony on Thursday 8th October 2009 the children said a special thanks to all the contractors who worked on transforming the room and even had a surprise visit from a special guest from Dulux Trades. Click here for more information.
