This week the Cruden Construction team have moved on to the Blackburn site to start the construction programme of extra care units and communal facilities for new client the Sisters of Nazareth.
Although the site has been busy for a few weeks, with the Environmental Agency completing key flood defence works and demolition of the existing building, the Cruden team have just moved in this week. Now the demolition has been completed and the site cleared the site accommodation is in place.
The new £6.3m contract will be completed in two phases handing over the 65 extra care units first followed by a further 33 apartments which are for sale.
The 65 week design and build programme will commence in early January 2012.
