The Cruden Construction team were delighted to welcome Conservative Party Chairman Baroness Sayeedi Warsi to the Chorley site in November to view the innovative new affordable housing scheme.

The scheme is a £3.9m design and build development in Adlington for client Places for People comprising 37 timber frame homes build to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.

Baroneess Warsi met representatives from Places for People, Cruden and visited the home of a new family who had just moved in at the end of October. Also at the visit was Councillor Alan Cullens who oversees housing policy for Chorley and County Councillor Peter Malpas in his role of Deputy Chairman of the Chorley Conservative Association.

The first phase of 22 affordable homes has now been handed over and families have moved in, the remaining 15 homes will be handed over in the new year.
